Union Minister for Coals and Mines and ace film personality Dr. DasariNarayana Rao on Sunday night released the audio of SLPP's movie “Suryam”. The movie is starring Manchu Vishnuvardhan Babu and Celina
Jaitley in the prime roles. Successful director V Samudra directs the film
and heartthrob of the youth music director Chakri scores the music. The
film is set for December first week release.
Addressing the gathering as chief guest Dr. Dasari Narayana Rao said Padma Shri. Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu is the most successful artiste in Telugu film industry, who
always held his composure at all times with a brave heart at the failures
and humbleness at the success. He said hero Vishnuvardhan Babu would
soon be overtaking the stardom in Tollywood.
JNTU Vice-Chancellor Prof Venkatrami Reddy observed that Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu happens to be the sole contributor of education to the poor and
downtrodden, besides rendering big service to the needy sections of the
society. He said Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College is the best
educational institutions under the JNTU affiliation with all facilities kept
ready for the students.
Former MP Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad said Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu is a great
human being and an extraordinary artiste who has a special place for him
among the Telugu people, besides having followers all over the country.
Member of Parliament Madhu Gowd Yakshi said he looked forward for the
day when hero Vishnuvardhan Babu could become a big Hollywood actor.
He said Vishnu has absorbed the discipline from his father.
Honorable members of the judiciary, academics, and other elite sections
took part in the event. The album was released through the Aditya Music.
The songs from the album were screened for the gathering.
Miss India Celina Jaitley, the heroine of Suryam, thanked Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu
and Vishnu for their cooperation and affection. “Vishnu would remain a
great friend of mine all through my life,” she felt.

Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu is today elected the new President of the Movie Artistes'
Association (MAA), a prominent association in the vibrant Telugu film
industry. The staggering conditions prevailing in the Telugu film industry
because of the predominant piracy of the movies forced the Association
members to unanimously elect Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu as their Chief, said senior
members of MAA. The association members and other prominent
personalities of the industry hailed Dr.MB's leadership and greeted him on
this occasion.
Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu, who had acted in a widely spread three decades of film career in
an unbelievable number of 506, of them about 150 as Hero, happened to
be the key figure when the MAA was formed in the early last decade. He
saw to it that the Telugu film industry gained self-reliance and successfully
guided the industry's shift-over to Hyderabad from erstwhile Madras .
Anjana Productions head Mr. Nagababu said that Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu is a
great warrior whose leadership is of immense strength to the MAA. He
desired and expressed hope that the new chief would successfully tackle
the “horrible” piracy menace. Veteran actor Gummadi Venkateswara Rao
observed that Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu holds superb leadership qualities and is a
perfect trouble-shooter, capable of facing any challenge

Later, addressing a press conference, Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu said that “I would never ever
be lured by Power or Position. I believe in selfless service, which alone
counts for a healthy society or to that matter any organization. I am
immensely moved at the unanimous decision of the association members
to elect me as their President. I can only assure you that I would do my
best.”
Later, Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu was profusely garlanded and congratulated by a great
number of film personalities. His well-wishers from all over India and
abroad had called up Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu and expressed hope that he would bring new

The “Suryam” unit (an SLPP film), starring Manchu Vishnuvardhan Babu,
Celina Jaitley and Veda has returned from Kyrgyzstan, a sizzling
mountainous country of the formerly Soviet Union, after a fortnight-long
brisk shoot schedule. “Suryam”, a high-budgeted movie is directed by V
Samudra, and produced by Padma Shri. Dr.Mohan Babu.
A couple of songs were canned on hero Vishnu and the two heroines. The
cinematography unit expressed great happiness that they could shoot
excellent locations and maintained that the songs would hold scintillating
backdrop of the mountains. Popular choreographer Raju Sundaram and
others led the songs canning, while youth sensation Chakri is the music
director.
Meanwhile, hero Vishnu is busy with gym training since a vital stunts
sequence is under planning, while a couple of terrific fights were already
