The announcement of the film ‘Saleem' has been occurred on 14th August. The film which is a product of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, is being directed by Y.V.S.Chowdary who has made seven films and the current flick is the 8th one. Film Saleem is the 50th venture of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. The producer of the film is Dr.Mohan Babu who plays a role of essence in the same. Mohan Babu would be portrayed in a negative shade after an extended span. The lead role of the film is enacted by Vishnu Vardhan Babu who took exceptional care in the aspect of his appearance and learn't unusual techniques in dance and stunts. Ileana who plays opposite to Vishnu would be depicted in an atypical character. Director Y.V.S.Chowdary, addressing the media, said that the film is an entertainer with love as the core concept. He said that the movie fades in with a thrilling sequence and the audience feels a jolt with the twist in the middle of the narrative. He further more said that Vishnu who was drawn closer to the audience through the super hit film ‘Dhee' would certainly be nearer further to the latter through the film Saleem. The shooting of the film would be commenced on 1st September and the release of the film could be expected after six months of the accomplishment of the shooting process. The musical support for the film is rendered by Sandeep Chowtha and the camera is wielded by C.Ramprasad, lyrics are penned down by Chandra Bose and the fights are composed by Kanal Kannan. The remaining cast of the flick comprises Brahamanandam, Ali, Suneel, Venumadhac, Jayaprakash Reddy, Mukhesh Rishi, Rahul Dev, Hema, Telangana Shakuntala and others.
